Chinese pianist Wei Danwen will perform works by Mozart, Schubert and Chopin
during his solo concert.
Born in Beijing, Wei studied at the affiliated middle and high schools of the
Central Conservatory of China. He earned a master's degree at the Juilliard
School in New York, as one of the last two students of the legendary pianist
Vladimir Horowitz. Wei has a long list of prizes under his belt, including
honors at the Montreal International Piano Competition, the Robert Casadesus
International Piano Competition and the Marguerite Long International Piano
